Reading this website
TJP uses Cloudflare to host and protect this website. Requests can include your IP address, browser information, the address requested, and technical or security logs. We use hosting and security tools to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and protect the service. TJP does not operate a reader account system or add advertising trackers or a separate audience analytics script to these pages.
Fonts and external services
Pages request fonts from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when those fonts load. The Donate page embeds a Buy Me a Coffee form; visiting that page connects your browser to that service, which may use its own cookies and other technologies. External links to Substack, social networks, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Subscriptions and donations
Newsletter signup and subscription management take place on Substack. Contributions are processed by Buy Me a Coffee and its payment providers. This website does not collect newsletter email addresses or payment card details. Information you provide to those services is handled under their policies: Substack privacy, Buy Me a Coffee privacy, Cloudflare privacy, and Google privacy.
Email and story tips
If you email the editor, we receive the information and attachments you send, along with email metadata. We use correspondence to respond, evaluate leads, and carry out editorial work. Relevant correspondence may be retained for reporting, corrections, and recordkeeping. This website has no tip-submission database. Please send only information you intend to share; contact the editor before sending sensitive material to discuss an appropriate method.
Editor access
The private editor uses Cloudflare Access email-code authentication and session cookies. Editorial records include editor identity and revision history. These tools are separate from public reading access.
Questions and requests
For questions about information held by TJP or to request access, correction, or deletion of correspondence, email tjppress@proton.me. We will consider the request in light of reporting, source protection, and recordkeeping needs. Contact Substack or Buy Me a Coffee directly for information held in your account with them. We will update this notice when the site's practices change.
